This is a great website to test your actual bandwidth and it turns out that I keep losing speed every day.

Yesterday I was at least a bit above the 28.8 modem connection (anyone remeber those??? from 8 years ago?) now I am at a super low level ... and this for the 450$ we pay per months for having ISDN!!! What a joke ... I called telecom again and they had tech guys driving around checking poles and cables ... never did I get a call back, to hear what's going on and instead of fixing, the speed even got worse ...

I must have bugged Telecom Fiji quite some today .. called like 4 times (yep, talked to Lisa, April, Rebecca and Arti) .. and finally the house was surrounded by 3 Telecom vans, checking every pole and cable ... in the end they somehow fixed it a bit ... I can go online again, but the speed is that of a 28.8 K modem ... while I am paying for ISDN. which should be 5 times that speed.

I also had some technicians coming in checking the one AC unit we have in the bedroom, as we tried it for the first time .. and it just started raining off water INSIDE the bedroom .. we woke up in a puddle ... but they fixed it .. AC in the bedroom is nice .. I suggested we put away 5$ each night we use the AC .. so we do not get totally shocked when the electricity bill comes ..
